Update: Lots

I know I have a bunch of accounts (facebook, twitter, youtube, blogger, etc) and I've started unsubscribing to a lot of subscription boxes but still have a few, I plan on coming out with more youtube videos and blog posts.  There are quite a few topics I'd like to bring out and talk about.

But also in the process of school and work, we are looking for a place to stay (moving).  So unfortunately I've been plenty busy.  It's a little stressful but I've dealt with a lot in my life that this should be something that will eventually pass and hopefully lead to new and better things.  I just have to keep moving up.

I am also planning to work my way back into an industry I had to step out of for a while.  During that time away I was able to work for all my equipment and supplies and provide for myself instead of hoping for a business to help me like before.  I had already started investing in something I should have kept working towards instead of letting some idiots run me away.  I'm not backing down, that's all I have to say.  So also working on that.

Back in school, I had lots of problems with writing.  I wasn't extremely good as others when it came to writing essays but I think my class is helping a little.  One major thing is my vocabulary.  I really need to build it up.  Since I've been reading this book for my English Comp I class, I feel I've been getting quite a bit of help towards becoming a better writer and if that's the case I may be writing more often.

Enough randomness for now.  I will be back later to add more posts of more random and interesting things on many many subjects.  I don't plan on picking just one thing such as makeup tutorials or reviews.  I would like to blog and do videos on whatever I would like and whatever anyone else would be interested in.

MARY KAY INFLUENSTER VOXBOX

So I was accepted to receive the Mary Kay VoxBox from Influenster.  When I found this out I was very glad because I wanted to try out more products from Mary Kay.

Growing up I had some break outs & one Christmas I asked for ProActiv & instead my sister in law gave me the Mary Kay Velocity cleanser, toner, & eye makeup remover.  I LOVED IT!  The eye makeup remover was the first one I had ever tried out..& I used it all.  I never repurchased another one because I was too busy traveling or I didn't know of a Mary Kay consultant (didn't try looking anything up either).  The face cleanser is also an amazing product.  It works fast to help get rid of my acne and take off any makeup on my face.  I'm more of the type to get a toner with some alcohol because for some reason it just worked best for me & I like to feel that the product is working.

Now after 4+ years of using the skincare products I was invited to receive a voxbox including Mary Kay products.  I received the Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening Mascara ($15), Mary Kay Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush ($10), Mary Kay Lash Primer ($15), Mary Kay Cream Eye Color in Violet Storm ($22), and the Mary Kay True Dimensions Lip Stick in Pink Cherie ($18).  Now I know they seem on the pricey side but they are well worth the product.  I actually had to buy some other product I loved because the quality is just worth it.

Mary Kay Lash Love Lengthening in I <3 Black ($15) This mascara is made to make your lashes longer, stronger & truly it does separate your lashes.  I don't have the most luscious full set of lashes but this mascara will keep my lashes separated so my lashes look decently more full PLUS it makes my lashes so much longer than they really are.  I don't naturally apply a bunch of coats to my lashes, just one, so imagine doubling or tripling the coats..your lashes will be more of a fake lash look.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush ($10):  I haven't used this brush for concealer yet but I did use this to apply the cream eye color.  This brush feels so amazing, it's soft & just the right density to apply the cream eye color.  It distributes the product evenly & with the right amount of product so that you can also build up instead of applying too much at the first shot.

Mary Kay Lash Primer ($15):  I love how much this primer works for my lashes before applying the mascara.  My lashes are really stubborn & are horribly straight.  This product may seem to add more weight to my lashes as stubborn as they already are BUT this primer does help to make your lashes look fuller & more dramatic for when you do apply your mascara.

Mary Kay Cream Eye Color in Violet Storm ($22):  Oh my goodness I love this cream eye color so much!  I've tried other cream shadows & as soon as I put other shadows on top it just smudges away.  Not with this Mary Kay cream shadow.  I got mine in Violet Storm & when applied with the cream eye color/concealer brush, it comes out smooth, even, & in just the right amount so if I want to make it more bold & bright I can just keep applying more.  I also love that when I applied my eye shadow, it did not come off onto my brush or gather up & practically disappear.  It did what it was suppose to do & just stay put as a perfect base.  Mary Kay's cream eye color felt so soft, perfectly creamy, & did last quite a long time.

Mary Kay True Dimensions Lip Stick in Pink Cherie ($18):  This smooth, moisturizing lipstick came in Pink Cherie for me.  At first I thought the color would be too pink for my skin tone but when applied & rubbed a little more sheer with my finger, it looked like a very pretty pink for my medium skin tone.  It may not last too long when it comes to eating & drinking but there's not too many lipsticks out there that can hold when it comes to eating & drinking anyways.  Plus my lips just can't hold anything for long because I'm constantly rubbing my lips together, etc., but I don't mind reapplying this product throughout the day.

All in all the Mary Kay products are well worth what they cost & I'm glad to have put in an order for more products (Acne-Fighters Set, Satin Set - for hands & lips) that also work amazingly & as I had hoped for.

I received these products complimentary from Mary Kay & Influenster for testing purposes.
